Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Says Jaime Lannister's Last 'Game of Thrones' Scene is Near the Series End

While the final season of Game of Thrones is only less than a month away now, we're still getting hints and minor reveals from the cast and crew on what we can expect when we travel back to Westeros one last time. And Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister, just dropped a seriously major piece of information.

In an interview with Star2, not only did the 48-year-old actor describe Jaime's last scene in the series as "beautiful," but he also revealed that it occurs near the end of the show. He explained:

"I had a great last scene. It was absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect way to end. Obviously I can’t tell you what the scene was. It wasn’t the final scene (of the series), but it was close to the end and it was shot at a beautiful location."

Um, that's kind of a huge spoiler! Coster-Waldau pretty much just confirmed Jaime will survive the big battle in Winterfell, which is reportedly supposed to take place in Episode 3, however will likely not sit on the Iron Throne. One might speculate his last scene will be his death, although we can't be too sure just from this admission alone.

"I didn’t expect to be emotional, so I don’t know what happened. I had allergy, there was something in my eye," Coster-Waldau continued on joking, before reiterating, "My final scene was beautiful." The hype is so real.

We'll get to see Jaime (hopefully) live through most of the season, with Game of Thrones returning on April 14.
