It's truly impossible to predict the outcome of Game of Thrones, but that hasn't stopped fans and even its cast from trying to figure out every detail. Cast members on the show have all talked about their predictions for the shows ending, but Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's prediction might have hinted that Jaime survives.

Coster-Waldau revealed he had tried to predict the show's ending at one point. "I guessed some of it, but not all of it," Coster-Waldau told Digital Spy.

"I was really surprised [by the end], but it’s one of those nice surprises where it’s surprising but it makes sense. You go, 'Oh, that’s clever.'"

What Coster-Waldau says next changed what we thought was going to happen to his character, Jaime Lannister.

"I can’t remember what I thought [about the ending] exactly, although I expected not to survive. I think it’s a good ending... it’s easy to go to the spoilers!"

Could this really mean that Jaime survives? The last time we saw Jaime he was entering Winterfell and had an awkward stare down with Bran, who was waiting for him.

In the episode 2 trailer, it looks like Jaime could be put on trial by Daenerys. She says at the beginning, "When I was a child, my brother would tell me a bed time story about the man who murdered our father... and all the things we would do to that man."

With Cersei planning his death for betraying her, and Daenerys wanting him dead as well, Jaime could have to fight for his life, even before the battle with the White Walkers.
