Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Defends Jaime and Cersei Lannister's Romantic Relationship

The winner of one the most controversial romantic relationship in Game of Thrones has to go to Cersei and Jaime Lannister, who we first saw getting all incestuous in the very first episode of the series.
While we know the relationship is weird, wrong, and honestly gross, the man behind Jaime, actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, has come forward to defend it, calling their relationship "one of the few true love stories."
In an interview with Men's Health, Coster-Waldau said he couldn't blame the siblings for the romance. "I think most people have at least been attracted to someone you shouldn’t be," the Thrones actor said. "Not your sister, but someone you really shouldn’t fall in love with, like your best friend’s girlfriend."
"It’s one of the few true love stories in Game of Thrones—Jaime is dedicated to this woman," Coster-Waldau added.
The Lannister twins aren't the only characters who have dabbled in an incestuous relationship, as we have just learned Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen are related as well.
