Nicki Minaj Reportedly Drops Longtime Management Team
By Kwadar Ray

After a year of heightened controversy, a major shakeup has happened within Nicki Minaj's team.
The Queens-based rapper parted ways with her longtime managers Cortez Bryant and Gee Roberson of the Blueprint Group and Maverick Management, according to Variety. The move was made before Nicki's guest performance during Ariana Grande’s headlining Coachella set on Sunday night, which was hampered by sound problems.

It's unclear what caused the split, but a source told Variety that the separation was "mutual and amicable." Nicki currently has no management team repping her.
Under Bryant and Robertson's management, Minaj had major success, cementing herself as arguably the best female rapper in history. Nicki's most recent album, Queen, garnered 1.2 billion streams, helping her become the first female artist with 100 career entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
But much of Nicki's success dovetailed with controversy, most recently her decision to date a convicted felon, her altercation with Cardi B last September, and her collaboration with rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, an alleged molester.
You mean, Nicki: openly dating a man that is convicted of man slaughter and raping a girl while holding a knife to her. Nicki is and always has been trash. https://t.co/5KfbTj63yn
