Nicki Minaj Has Officially Married Kenneth Petty

Nicki Minaj is officially a bridal Barbie!

People reports that the “Megatron” rapper has finally tied the knot with her boyfriend of-less than a year, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty. The musician posted a video to Instagram this week to announce the big news, showing matching “Mr.” and “Mrs.” coffee mugs, as well as “Bride” and “Groom” ball caps. She captioned the video, “Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty 10•21•19,” referencing her new name and presumably the day the couple was wed.

Though the lovebirds have only been married a few days, Minaj has been confusing her fans and followers for months by calling Petty her husband on multiple occasions. For instance, the 36-year-old songstress shared a few months ago on her Queen radio show:

“Every night when I get out of the shower, my husband takes this really good lotion that we just bought, and he massages my feet, and rubs them, and he rubs each toe individually, and the heel, and the ball of my foot, and he does it all.”

Of course, this sparked some follow-up questions from fans, wondering if she had married the 41-year-old man in secret. The Grammy-winning musician stated at the time that they had indeed obtained a marriage license, and that they would be married soon.

Despite all the twists and turns, it seems the happy couple has finally put a ring on it. Congrats to Nicki and Kenneth!
