New Rumor Fuels Speculation Venom Will Appear in Third 'Spider-Man' Film
By Hannah Wigandt

When Venom came out last October, fans were quick to wonder whether or not the villain would reunite with his nemesis Spider-Man in any future Marvel movies. Now rumors have began to circulate that a film with the duo could be coming sooner than we thought.
According to Bloody Disgusting, Roger Wardell, a reported reliable source, tweeted that Sony "desperately" wants Venom to appear in Spider-Man 3. While debunking that Deadpool would appear in the third Spider-Man installment, he claimed that Tom Hardy's character could be included, if the studio has their way.
There are no plans to add Deadpool in an MCU Spider-Man 3, but Sony desperately wants Tom Hardy's Venom in this movie. Deadpool had his own movies but never showed up in the main X-Men films, it will be the same for the MCU.

With Venom teasing the character Carnage in the film's post-credits, who is the enemy of both Venom and Spider-Man, the events in Venom 2 could cause Hardy's character to seek Tom Holland's Spider-Man for help, which in turn could introduce Venom into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in later movies, such as the obvious, Spider-Man 3.
As Spider-Man: Far From Home closes out Marvel's Phase 3 on July 2, there's no way of knowing how Marvel will carry on with the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. But this rumor is certainly interesting.
