New 'Game of Thrones' Photos Might've Dropped Major Spoiler About Jaime Lannister
By Natalie Zamora

Although we still haven’t gotten a proper full-length trailer for the final season of Game of Thrones yet, the teasers and minor reveals have been keeping us afloat while we wait for anything substantial. And thankfully, something big did come this week, as the first official Season 8 photos were released. Fans were excited to see the likes of Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, and Sansa Stark, among many others. But beyond the pleasant surprise it was just to see our favorite characters, it is now time to speculate what the photos mean exactly.
Eagle-eyed fans have been discussing Jaime Lannister’s photo in particular, which shows him wearing some questionable armor.

Fans have been posting the side by side picture above, which shows the new photo of Jaime and an old photo of Robb Stark, proving Jaime is actually wearing the armor of the North in the upcoming season. Why is this a big deal? Well, as Esquire points out, this could either mean the Lannister sibling is disguising himself as one of the North army, or actually is on their side now, after possibly making it to Winterfell with Jon and Daenerys. It’s a tiny detail, but it could mean big things for Jaime’s arc in the final season.
Many have taken to social media to express their excitement over the possibility of Jaime making it to Winterfell, with some even believing they see an even smaller, yet significant detail in the photo: the lack of Jaime’s golden hand.
i’m just very happy my son jaime lannister has made it to winterfell safe and sound and is wearing northern armour and has grown a beard plus it also looks like he may have ditched his golden hand?? pic.twitter.com/GW111TCaeL

It’s all just speculation for now, but what else can we do but theorize until April 14 when the final season premieres?
