New 'Game of Thrones' Footage Debuts During Golden Globes
By Natalie Zamora

Although the final season of Game of Thrones debuts in just a few months, we have yet to see any substantial footage from it. That is, until now. The past few teasers for Season 8 have included old clips from previous seasons, one brief moment where Sansa Stark and Jon Snow hug with no dialogue, along with the announcement it would be premiering in April 2019. But in a ever-so-casual drop during the Golden Globes tonight, HBO gave us a bit more.
HBO released a new trailer for the upcoming seasons of their shows, which include GoT, Barry, their new DC showWatchmen, and more. For the beloved fantasy series, we see Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) meet Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) in a brief clip, as she stands beside Jon Snow (Kit Harington). This marks the first time the three share a scene in the show's history.
"Winterfell is yours, your grace," Sansa tells Daenerys, as the Mother of Dragons looks pleased and nods. Also seen in the scene are Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christine) and Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen).
While this again is a pretty short clip, it's still a huge reveal as to what we can expect come Season 8. For one, we know for sure that Jon and Dany make it to Winterfell, and secondly, we see Sansa is seemingly willing to give up the North. Although we can't be sure with this seconds-long clip, there's a bunch to speculate here.
Game of Thrones returns for the last time this April.
