New 'Avengers: Endgame' Poster Confirms Shuri's Death
By Hannah Wigandt

The last time we saw our beloved Avengers, most of them--along with half of the universe--were being cast away into the wind as they turned to dust at the hands of Thanos. It was the most intense and spine-tingling moment in Marvel Cinematic Universe history, and has plagued fans since.
Now, via The Avengers' Twitter page, Marvel has released solo character posters for nearly every major character from Avengers: Infinity War. The posters are separated into different groupings, as the first posters are in color, representing the ones who survived the snap, and the rest are in the group who weren't so lucky, printed in black and white.

When you scroll down through the fallen group, there's one poster that reveals something fans are finding very shocking. One who is portrayed to have died is Shuri, T'Challa's sister. There was previously no confirmation if the fan-favorite character had lived or died, with co-director Joe Russo even denying to comment on her status last spring. This new revelation obviously has fans heartbroken.

There's no way to know for sure if these beloved characters are resurrected yet, but we do know the remaining Avengers will do everything they can to stop Thanos. The posters' words "Avenge the Fallen" seem to be a fitting motto for the film. Endgame hits theaters on April 26.
