MTV's 'Pretty Little Mamas' Joining 'Teen Mom' Franchise as 'Young Moms Club'

When MTV's reality show Pretty Little Mamas was removed from the air with little to no explanation, fans were confused as to the lack of word from the station about why the show's time slot had been given away to reruns of other shows from the network.

However, it turns out that the show is rebranding and joining the Teen Mom franchise, according to US Weekly. The show, now called Teen Mom: Young Moms Club will follow the same young women as the original series with a new addition, a mother named Heather. While the show only originally lasted two episodes, fans were still upset when it was cancelled as they were already invested in the storylines of the young mothers.

Unlike Teen Mom, which follows the lives of young mothers who were not connected otherwise, the group on Young Moms Club follows a group of women who were already friends before having children at younger ages. The group lives in San Diego, and all lean on each other for support through the ups and downs of young motherhood. The group is made up of Chandlar, Nikki, Nicole, Alyssa, Cheyenne and Heather, all of whom except Heather were also featured on PLM.

We're excited to see the direction that the show takes as part of the Teen Mom family!
