High School Musical stars Monique Coleman and Corbin Bleu reunite for Lifetime Christmas movie

More than 15 years after starring in Disney Channel stars, Monique Coleman, 41, and Corbin Bleu, 32, from the original phenomenon High School Musical are sharing the screen again in Lifetime's new holiday flick, A Christmas Dance Reunion

In an interview with People, the 41-year actress revealed, "I was really excited about it and then when I saw that Corbin was already attached to the project, it was the fastest I'd ever said yes to anything in my life. I was very fortunate that it is such an amazing story and it really suits us so well." 

A Christmas Dance Reunionfollows an attorney named Lucy (Coleman) who reunites with her childhood dance partner Barrett (Bleu), and in many ways, Coleman says the film "parallels" her and Corbin's real life. - Read the full interview, here!

Both actors took to their social media on Friday to share images from behind the scenes from their new joint project. Monique Coleman captioned her post, "???♥️✨??? The wait is finally over!!! Tune in to#achristmasdancereunionTONIGHT at 8/7c on@lifetimetv." While co-star and long-time pal, Corbyn shared the trailer of the movie.
