Game of Thrones has become so popular that it comes to no surprise a spinoff show is already in the works to pacify eager fans who want more. The planned prequel series, which is rumored to be called The Long Night, has just welcomed new star in Miranda Richardson.

The Harry Potter alum, known for her role as Rita Skeeter, is now joining Naomi Watts and Josh Whitehouse, among an already full cast, for the pilot episode of the spinoff show.

The series will take place thousands of years before the events in Game of Thrones. No information has been released about Richardson's character, or barely about any of the other characters for that matter. The one thing we do know is that Watts' character is a "charming socialite with a dark secret."

Richardson will also appear in Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's TV series Good Omens alongside Michael Sheen and David Tennant, which premieres on Amazon Prime this May.
