Mike Colter Confirms Whether or Not Luke Cage Will Be in 'Avengers: Endgame'
By Kwadar Ray

We all know Luke Cage did not survive Netflix's wave of Marvel cancellations a few months ago, but did the show's title character survive the events of Avengers: Infinity War?
Mike Colter, who played Cage in the Netflix series, revealed what he believes the status of his character is after Thanos' snap, also known as "The Decimation," which wiped out half of the universe, including plenty of beloved MCU characters.
"Well, you know what? Based off what happened, I'm already dead, the snap has already happened with Luke Cage," Colter told Comicbook.com on whether or not we can expect any of the show's characters in Avengers: Endgame. "We're dead, we're already gone! I hate to break it down... but no, no, we're not."

Obviously, the actor is not too optimistic about his chances of appearing in Avengers: Endgame, but he's hopeful he can reprise the Luke Cage role for other Marvel films.
"Absolutely, I'll be down for [movies]. Anything is possible," Colter said. "These things are sort of up in the air, at this moment... With time, they'll probably be some more clarity for everybody whether we're actually gonna be involved in anything else."
Cage's status is is very much up in the air, but there's a chance the character returns for the third season of Netflix's Jessica Jones, after Colter himself recently teased the possibility.
