After the announcement of Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie as a queer superhero, it's now been confirmed there will be another openly gay character coming soon to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to Entertainment Weekly, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige shared the news at the D23 Expo, revealing the character will be featured in The Eternals.

“He’s married, he’s got a family, and that is just part of who he is,” Feige told Good Morning America at the event. It has not been announced yet which of the many new MCU additions it will be.

The Eternals is scheduled for theaters on Nov. 6, 2020.
