Mark Hamill Thinks it Was a Mistake Luke, Leia, and Han Never Reunited in New 'Star Wars' Trilogy
By Hannah Wigandt

While the newest Star Wars trilogy has always kept the original movies at heart and has paid homage in as many ways, Mark Hamill is still not happy about one crucial moment that didn't get to happen.
The legacy player is known for being outspoken, especially on Twitter, and now he's venting his anger about how a reunion between Han, Luke, and Leia never got to happen.
Even though Disney has released one Star Wars movie a year (which Hamill has a problem with as well) to keep fans satisfied and happy, Hamill thinks that the company missed a best opportunity that could have happened in the new trilogy: an epic reunion of the famous trio.
But now none of Hamill's wishes will come true because Han Solo was killed, Luke Skywalker seemingly died, and Carrie Fisher, the woman behind Leia Organa, sadly passed away in 2016. So essentially there's no possible way the three characters can ever be on screen together again, unless Lucasfilm has footage they're not telling us about, which is possible.
Hamill recently reflected to Den of Geek:
"I just thought, Luke’s never going to see his best friend again. You look at it in a self-centered way. I said that it was a big mistake that those three people would never reunite in any way. I guess I was wrong, because nobody seems to care! I have to stipulate that I care, but it didn’t really seem to affect the larger audience. Luke, Han and Leia will never be together again, and I’ll probably never get to work with Harrison again."
While we did see Luke onscreen with Leia in The Last Jedi, Luke never got to reunite with Han, or even grieve him. Hamill is just as much of a fanboy as we are, so we can understand why he feels cheated.
