Mark Hamill Debunks Alleged 'Star Wars: Episode IX' Poster Leak
By Hannah Wigandt

Since Disney has yet to even release the title for the last movie in the Skywalker saga, Episode IX, fans are tired of waiting. And since there has been no movie posters either, some have taken it into their own hands to create their own. But one which was claimed be a leak of an authentic poster got shut down by none other than Luke himself.
One look at the fan-made poster and any Star Wars fan can tell it's a fake. Well, firstly because C3PO is carrying Chewie's bowcaster.

Mark Hamill was quick to respond when he found the picture on social media. He immediately said that it was a "(wonderful) work of a passionate fan," discrediting it as the real deal. The actor also acknowledged how weird it was that C3PO had suddenly taken a liking to weapons, carrying the bowcaster.
I'm pretty sure that's just the (wonderful) work of a passionate fan.

In any case, we're guessing that the fan who made this had a great time doing so, but it's still not cool trying to trick the entire Star Wars fanbase into thinking it was authentic.
