Maisie Williams Wants Sansa Stark to Win the Iron Throne in 'Game of Thrones'

It’s no secret that Game of Thrones co-stars Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner have such a great friendship—it’s almost like they’re sisters in real life. So, of course it comes as no real surprise that Williams would want Turner’s character Sansa Stark, her on-screen sister, to sit on the Iron Throne in the show’s finale.

In a video posted by a fan on Twitter, Williams is seen talking about the beloved HBO series while at some type of Q&A event. When someone asks her who she thinks should take the Throne, Williams says, “I think Sansa, because I love Sophie will my whole heart.”

The on-screen sisters are honestly friendship goals, even getting matching tattoos of the date they both were cast on the show. Fans also loved seeing them having a ton of fun alongside each other while appearing on Apple’s TV series Carpool Karaoke.

No one really knows yet if Williams is right about wanting her on-screen sister to win the Throne, however, but it is one of the questions Thrones will absolutely answer in the highly-anticipated season. As we all wait for it to premiere on April 14, there have been endless fan theories about who will end up surviving and/or sitting the Iron Throne, if anyone at all.
