Maisie Williams has gone from playing the fierce Arya Stark on Game of Thrones to portraying a mutant called Wolfsbane in her new movie The New Mutants. But since the the Disney/Fox deal has been settled, the fate of the film is sort of left hanging.

“Who knows when the f**k that’s gonna come out,” Williams told Rolling Stone on the upcoming Marvel film.

Williams added that there was supposed to be reshoots to make the movie look scarier, but they never happened. And when Williams saw one of her co-stars recently, Charlie Heaton of Stranger Things fame, she asked him if he knew what was going on with the movie. Apparently, he said he had no clue either.

But while Williams and her co-stars are being left in the dark about the X-Men spinoff, the GoT star can't help but imagine if the movie did take off, then her and her Thrones co-star Sophie Turner could once again work together in a new franchise. Turner's second X-Men film, Dark Phoenix, is hitting theaters this June. “It would be ridiculously stupid if they didn’t do that,” Williams said of the idea of having the pair appear in a future Marvel film together.

Maisie and Sophie going from Game of Thrones together to Marvel? Talk about sister goals. We hope to hear news about The New Mutants ASAP.
