After starring in Game of Thrones, one of the most famous shows in television history, where do you go from there? Is there anything worthy of working on, if not Thrones? Apparently not, according to Arya Stark herself, Maisie Williams.

Williams, after just wrapping eight seasons of the hit show, has to move on along with her co-stars, but that doesn't mean she has to like it. In fact, it seems she hates it, because she says all of the scripts she's read lately are "trash" compared to Thrones.

Despite the final season receiving mixed reviews, Williams is sticking by the show that shot her to fame. While talking to SFX Magazine, she admitted that all the other shows out there can't hold a candle to Thrones, as reported by DigitalSpy.

"I read other scripts now and think, 'This is trash!' The stories are just not complex," Williams said. "And then sometimes you read a script which is definitely like 30 pages too long and you think, 'But there's still no twist!'"

Williams went on the praise the writing behind Game of Thrones, for being able to pull off all of the crazy twists. "And you can't do that sort of writing unless you're good at writing because otherwise it just becomes sort of nonsensical and you're just being shocking for the sake of being shocking rather than writing something that's believable," she added.

Let's hope Williams finds something worthwhile to act in after her next project, The New Mutants, debuts in April 2020. As per her IMDb page, she's also set to appear in a new thriller called The Owners by director Julius Berg, which does not have a release date yet. We're excited to see what roles she takes on after that.
