Mackenzie McKee Shares Heartfelt Note She Found From Late Mom Angie Douthit

Get ready to cry. After losing her mother in Dec. 2019, Teen Mom OG star Mackenzie McKee has opened up about missing the most special woman in her life and how hard the grief has been. For the latest, it seems Angie Douthit managed to sneak a present into Mackenzie's suitcase for her daughter's recent trip to New York.

Mackenzie shared on Instagram that this was her first trip to New York City without her mom and that it's been really tough. She also revealed a picture of a wallet with a photograph of her mother inside of it and a special note.

I have been to New York countless times but never without my momma. It was her favorite place and we always had the time of our lives there together. This trip was hard. I cried and was lonely but also spent time being thankful for these times with her. I opened my suit case after arriving and who knows how this wallet got here but it did. Mom, you figured out how to come with me. Thank you ?

In her caption above, Mackenzie wrote, "I opened my suit case [sic] after arriving and who knows how this wallet got here but it did. Mom, you figured out how to come with me. Thank you." In the note to her daughter, Angie sweetly called Mackenzie "Mickie," writing in part, "You made me a better mom."

Fan support has been really positive towards Mackenzie and many responses were in their feelings upon seeing the post. One especially sweet follower wrote, "She is always with you, don't ever forget that! And you can always talk to her anytime you need to. She will hear you, I can promise you that."

How amazing. We're wishing Mackenzie the most strength now as she grieves her lovely mom.
