Mackenzie McKee Raises Eyebrows as She Advises Fans to Not Be 'Worried' if Coronavirus 'Takes You'
By Rachel Reed

While everyone seems in panic mode over the Coronavirus crisis, Teen Mom OG star Mackenzie McKee is keeping her cool. She's also advising others to do the same in a recent video on Instagram, but instead of suggesting Clorox wipes or movies to binge while quarantined, she offered up a different type of health guideline, saying, "You need to trust that god has this in his hands."
The problem is, some of the 16 and Pregnant alum's phrasing struck a nerve with fans and followers. In the video captured below, she explains that everything that happens is in god's hands, including Coronavirus. In a pretty loud spiel, Mackenzie expresses her beliefs, explaining why what is meant to happen will happen whether or not we all are safely social distancing.
The girl is entitled to her opinion, of course, but the moment people think she might've gone too far is when she adds that if the scary sickness wants to "take you," you should let it. Seems a bit harsh and insane, am I right? Watch the clip below and see for yourself.
The masses seem to think she definitely went too far. In the comments section on the fan page's post above, some people accused Mackenzie of turning into a fanatical religious person while others seemed to be in complete disbelief that she'd go there. One person even commented, "Please don’t make her a permanent cast member."
This might prove to be one piece of backlash for Mackenzie that'll be difficult to wash her hands clean of for quite some time.
