Maci Bookout Asks Husband Taylor McKinney to Get a Vasectomy in 'Teen Mom OG' Episode

Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout is exploring all of her options.

In the latest episode of the MTV series, the 27-year-old reality star was forced to bring up a nerve-racking topic when speaking with her husband, Taylor McKinney. Because Maci has Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), she decided she wanted to try getting off birth control to regulate her body. However, that meant other steps had to be taken to ensure she and Taylor wouldn't get pregnant again.

As reported by HollywoodLife, the episode showed Maci asking Taylor if he would get a vasectomy after she visited the doctor, so they wouldn't have to worry about other birth control methods. While Taylor seemed legitimately concerned for his wife's wellbeing as she dealt with the nearly constant pain, he also didn't seem down with the procedure.

"I'm not 100% sure," Taylor told Maci, noting that he didn't want to do anything permanent. When asked if he wanted to have more kids, Taylor didn't knock out the possibility, to Maci's surprise. "I'm not crazy about the idea of a vasectomy," he clarified.

It looks like the couple will have to learn more about what they can do in terms of birth control so they're both happy with the decision.
