The grammy-award winning artist, songwriter, and now fashion mogul Lizzo is trying her hand at a new business venture!

On March 30, the Truth Hurts singer announced her new, size-inclusive shapewear brand called Yitty, a moniker that derives from her childhood nickname. The line, which has been three years in the making, offers sizes ranging from 6X to XS and comes in a number of bold colors and prints.

“Instead of thinking about size in this linear way, we’re thinking about it on a spectrum where everyone is included. Everyone’s size is just their size. It’s not high, it’s not low. It’s not big, it’s not small. It’s just your size,” Lizzo said in a press release.

The brand, which is in partnership with activewear company Fabletics, will drop its first three collections — Nearly Naked, Mesh Me, and Major Label — on April 12 and will be available to shop onyitty.fabletics.com.

Nearly Naked includes lightweight, seamless styles for all-day wear, while Mesh Me offers fashion-forward mesh pieces that can be worn as both inner and outerwear. The final collection, Major Label, encompasses soft, striking, everyday silhouettes.

Lizzo, who expressed that she’s been wearing shapewear since “the fifth or sixth grade,” shared that she designed this label with self-love, confidence, and boundless body positivity in mind.

“I was tired of seeing this sad, restrictive shapewear that literally no-one wanted to wear. I had an epiphany like, ‘Who can actually do something about this?’ I decided to take on the challenge of allowing women to feel unapologetically good about themselves again,” she said.
