Limited Edition 1985 Eggo Boxes Are Now Available Ahead of the 'Stranger Things' Season 3 Premiere

In preparation for the drop of Season 3 of Stranger Things, Eggo has announced its new campaign to jump in on the Netflix cross-promotion. The company has been promising something new, and the result is retro-styled Eggo packaging, the same that the company used in 1985, as reported by ComicBook.com.

Stranger Things returns on July 4 and in preparation, Eggo has been amping up the hype with posters and packaging, plus getting active on social media to target fans of the show.

The Eggo website promotes the boxes with:

"Stock up for the big 4th of July bash 1985-style. Order the Limited Edition 1985 Ego Box from AmazonFresh now while you still can! After the 4th of July, keep the retro Eggo celebration going. Hunt for the rare Limited Edition Eggo Boxes in select stores across the US, beginning in July, while supplies last."

The idea, of course, stems from the fact that Eggo waffles are Eleven's favorite food. And since she's a fan-favorite character in the extremely popular TV show, the company is rightfully taking advantage of the attention placed on its breakfast food.

It's not certain, however, how many areas of the country will be getting the retro Eggos, and AmazonFresh points out that delivery may not be nationwide.
