Leaked 'Game of Thrones' Script Contains Major Spoiler About Cersei Lannister

Saying we have a lot of questions going into the final season of Game of Thrones would be an understatement. What will Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow do when they find out of his true parentage? When will Cleganebowl go down? And is Cersei Lannister actually pregnant?

In the Season 7 episode "Eastwatch," Cersei tells Jaime Lannister she's pregnant with his child, news that forces Tyrion Lannister to strike up a deal with her for the unborn child. However, fans of the HBO series were quick to call her bluff, as she's not exactly the most honest person in Westeros. In fact, it would be very much like her to lie about something this big to manipulate the ones around her.

Well, it appears she actually was telling the truth.

According to Metro, a script available at the Writers Guild of America West from that Season 7 episode actually confirms Cersei's pregnancy. In the script, when she tells Jaime the news, the stage notes read, "She nods, it’s true… Her happiness is contagious. They get another chance at family. This time with no one standing in their way."

And if isn't enough to convince you, a conversation later on with Tyrion also adds, "Tyrion sees what he sees and knows what it means. He can hardly believe it, but knows it to be true."

This confirmation only makes things more interesting for what's in store in Season 8. Game of Thrones will return for the last time in April 2019.
