2020 is off to a rocky social media start for Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer. Her first Instagram post of the year was promotional and now, she's getting called out for what she seems to be selling, reports Yahoo!.

Her focus was on "holiday weight." So in the post, the MTV personality was promoting the Flat Tummy app in a paid partnership, subtly showing off her own flat tummy as proof.

While some fans were onboard, others seemed disappointed that she'd seemingly sold out, like so many other Teen Mom stars now promoting weight loss products. People even began unfollowing her, saying in the comments section that this post was the reason.

Others were a little more explicit with their feedback. One person said, "Don’t advertise this to anyone especially younger viewers it’s so unhealthy and unregulated," and another pleaded, "Please remove this. It is contributing to twisted diet culture, we all know you don’t actually use it, and it doesn’t work. Stop using your platform of 'body love' to push toxic diet culture."

A notable number of followers (and unfollowers) agreed that "pushing toxic diet culture" was an all around bad look for Leah. With all the backlash, it's only a matter of time before the reality star responds to the heat.
