This is no joke, Lady Gaga has officially joined the Joker sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux, as Harley Quinn across from Joaquin Phoenix. The singer-turned-actress confirmed weeks of speculation about whether she would be joining the sequel, on Thursday, with a post on her Instagram.

The Poker Face singer shared a teaser reel from the upcoming movie, set to the track of Cheek to Cheek -- which Lady Gaga famously covered in her music career alongside Tony Bennett -- with the caption of its release, "Joker: Folie à Deux. 10.04.24" seemingly confirming her involvement. Variety reported in June that the Hold My Hand singer was circling the role of Harley Quinn in the upcoming Joker sequel, which is set to be "a musical", of all things.
