Kylie Jenner took to social media this week to show support for fellow makeup mogul Jaclyn Hill, however awkwardly deleted the post soon after. This move comes amid Hill's current controversy, as her new makeup line is being called out for reportedly including "black holes, lumps and hair-like fibers," according to People.

On her Instagram Story, Jenner shared a video opening up Hill's new lipsticks in a PR box, showing excitement to have gotten the new products. "Also, can’t wait to try these," she said in the video, seemingly clueless about the scandal the YouTuber is facing. "This PR box is magical." But it seems someone quickly told the 21-year-old billionaire about the backlash, and she promptly deleted the video.

Hill's new makeup collection caught a considerable amount of buzz upon its release, as customers started to complain about different substances inside the lipsticks. Some even believed there was mold. The 28-year-old star has since responded to all the backlash via YouTube, addressing the issue and first and foremost assuring fans there is no mold.

"The first thing I want to address is the accusation that my lipsticks are expired, moldy or hazardous in any way," Hill says towards the beginning of the 14-minute video. "My lipsticks did not go into mass production until the same month that I launched my brand."

The beauty mogul also responded to fans' complaints on Twitter, explaining that the "hairs" in the lipstick is actually shedding from white gloves worn by factory workers. "We switched to rubber gloves 2 days ago & will make sure this never happens again," Hill wrote.

Hill also attributed the black holes to oxygen bubbles, explaining in her video, "It’s not actually black holes. Again, it’s not mold. It is oxygen and it is 100 percent safe. It is not going to hurt you."

While Hill's lipstick collection was 100% a fail, it does seem like she feels sympathetic for all of her fans who bought her products. As for Jenner, she should probably check out what's going on in the beauty world more frequently--but we can't fault her for supporting a friend when she likely didn't know any better.
