A new wave of Charlie's Angels are coming at us, and one of the stars of the upcoming reboot film is giving fans an update on what we can expect.

Kristen Stewart, who stars alongside Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska as one of the members of the iconic crime-fighting team, caught up with Variety on all things Charlie's Angels, explaining what the tone of the film is. We should definitely expect it to be a modern twist on the 1976 original TV show, but the feeling will still be the same.

“At one point I think we said it was woke and grounded, and everyone was like, ‘Wait, is it still fun?’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah dude, obviously, it’s ‘Charlie’s Angels,'” Stewart explained at the premiere of her new film JT LeRoy.

While fans know the classic Charlie's Angels story by the famous trio--originally portrayed by Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, and Jaclyn Smith, and later by Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu, and Drew Barrymore--Stewart hints that this new film will feature many other ladies in major roles.

"If you were to make that movie right now, there needs to be more than three girls. We’re all in it together. There’s an entire network of women across the entire world that are supporting each other. It feels really well-intentioned," the 29-year-old actress continued. "And it’s funny and weird, too, so hopefully people have fun watching it."

We can't wait to see what Stewart is talking about, when Charlie's Angels premieres in theaters on Nov. 15, 2019.
