Kris Jenner Faces Backlash on Twitter Over Her Reaction to Kylie Jenner's Hospitalization in 'KUWTK'

We all know Kris Jenner is a pro at business, but she's an amazing mom, too. So that's why when she seemingly prioritized an event over her daughter's health on tonight's episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, a few eyebrows were raised.

Tonight's episode showed Kris coming to terms with the fact that Kylie was too sick to come to Paris for a Balmain fashion show she was working on. As disappointing as it was that the makeup mogul had to back out, her assistant told the momager that they they were going to have to take her to the hospital, and Kris didn't seem too concerned. Instead, she said she wished her youngest could just "suck it up." In a deep moment with boyfriend Corey Gamble, Kris was reminded that she has to think of her daughter's wellbeing before a business opportunity. It took some convincing from Corey to put herself in mom mode, but Kris finally came around and accepted the situation.

Fans who were watching at home are, in turn, a bit concerned with the way Kris handled the situation, and took to Twitter to criticize her parenting. One person wrote, "Cory [sic] shouldn't even have to tell Kris this. Her motherly instinct should've immediately kicked in if her baby daughter is in the hospital. Now I see where Kim gets her 'work ethic' all-business snobbery from. No concern for Kylie from Kris, just obsession with $$$ #KUWTK." Another tweeted, "It’s kind of sad seeing Kris being so dismissive of kylies illness ... I understand business but if you’re in the hospital you can’t just suck it up ... #KUWTK."

Clearly, this wasn't a good look for Kris. We all know that she would do anything for her kids, but this whole ordeal made that pretty difficult to see.

As for Kylie, she recently opened up on her hospitalization, explaining on social media, "For those wondering i never had flu-like symptoms! i had a horrible strep and staph infection in the throat (bleeding from the mouth and all) it was the sickest i've ever been." Sounds absolutely terrible, and certainly no way to travel! Hopefully Kris will see this episode and realize how unreasonable she was being—at least on camera, anyway.
