Kris Jenner Accuses Kanye West of Disrespecting Corey Gamble on 'KUWTK'

Trouble, it seems, is brewing within the Kardashian-West-Jenner family, particularly surrounding Kris Jenner and her "secretive" boyfriend Corey Gamble. This time, the drama came from a somewhat unexpected source: Kanye West, husband to Kim Kardashian, who evidently sent a brusque early-morning text to Gamble about his secrecy--one that divided the family and that Jenner considered an act of “disrespect.”
The drama played heavily on the most recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, according to Complex. In the episode, Kim diplomatically explained the text that West had sent to Gamble.
“Kanye texts Corey something along the lines of, ‘Look, we don’t know you, we’ve never met any of your family members,’” Kim said. “Of course we’ve all felt that way and thought that, but for Kanye to just so bluntly say that to him—I feel like that was the wrong choice to make at that time.”
Jenner was not especially appreciative of West’s message, saying, “I just wish I knew why [Kanye] has to bring bad energy into the field at 6 o’clock in the morning,” adding, “I would never disrespect somebody and say that.”
Kourtney Kardashian, on the other hand, was supportive of her brother-in-law, saying that he was “very paternal.” According to People, she added, “Kanye’s delivery wasn’t great, but the essence of what he said is true. Corey does tend to be pretty secretive and that does have me pretty guarded....We don’t know Corey like that.”
The drama reached a head when Jenner invited Khloé to a girls’ weekend in Palm Springs but neglected to mention that Gamble would be there, sparking tension between the mother and daughter. After a brief confrontation, Jenner asked that Khloé think of things from her perspective, explaining, "I think what you guys don’t realize is Corey is really taking care of me like no one ever has in my entire life.”
Subsequently, Khloé made up with her mother and apologized to Gamble, resolving to do what’s best for the momager. Personally, we’re glad to see the conflict resolved. It was a rollercoaster, but it’s great the Kardashian-West-Jenner family emerged from the other side so quickly.
