Kit Harington on Why Next Episode of 'Game of Thrones' is One of His Favorites

The last three episodes of Game of Thrones will (hopefully) be the most epic of the entire series, and next week's is even backed by Kit Harington himself.

From what we know so far from the teaser, Episode 4 of Season 8 could just be another lead-up to another important battle, but Harington has just reassured us that it should be a great episode, even calling it one of his favorites.

“One of my favorite episodes is 4 because the characters have seemingly got what they needed,” Harington told Entertainment Weekly. “The world is safe now. They’re celebrating and saying goodbye to lost friends. But as an audience you’re going, ‘This is only episode 4, something’s going to happen.’ And that’s the cool thing because I think the characters are aware of this as well. There’s something twisted and uncomfortable about it. It’s so Shakespearian.”

Episode 4 is set to be 78 minutes long and will feature the survivors of the Battle of Winterfell celebrating their victory over the Army of the Dead, while also planning their victory over the living, as they bring the next battle to Cersei Lannister in King's Landing.

As for Episode 3, "The Long Night," Harington was upset he didn't get the chance to be part of the battle more with his co-stars, instead of riding one of Daenerys Targaryen's dragons almost the whole time.

“I was slightly pissed off I was on a dragon, it stops me from fighting in a crowd,” Harington explained. “It’s going to look cool but I wanted, in some ways — just as Jon does — to get back down on the ground. The fact he can fly a dragon means he has to but his place is down there amongst the sword swingers. But that whole episode should be mesmerizing.”

Hopefully we'll see Jon Snow fight in the battle against Cersei, and are expecting big things from one of Harington's favorite episodes this Sunday.
