Kim Kardashian Sued for $10 Million by Kimoji App Developer

Uh-oh, looks like Kim Kardashian is coming under fire for a controversy not related to her style choices nor her near-naked posts. According to TMZ, the reality star is being sued for $10 million by an app developer who worked on her brand Kimoji, an app of iOS emojis.

Developer David Liebensohn alleges that after he and his business partners made the app CensorOut, Kim sought them out to work on her Kimojis. Documents obtained by the publication state Liebensohn and partners had a 60 percent deal made in 2014. However, in the same year, Kim apparently claimed one of his business partners shared personal information about her, and she no longer wanted to work with them.

Liebensohn is now suing Kim for alleged breach of contract, fraud, and for the profits he lost being axed out of Kimoji. The KKW Beauty founder's lawyer Marty Singer has issued a statement to TMZ, reading:

"The lawsuit filed against Kim Kardashian is ridiculous and absurd. The parties entered into a binding settlement agreement 2014 in which Kim gave up multi-million dollar claims against Mr. Liebensohn and his partners. Mr. Liebensohn waited more than 4 years to claim the agreement wasn't binding on him. Kim commenced an arbitration in December 2018, and after Mr. Liebensohn was unsuccessful in stopping the arbitration he filed this meritless lawsuit. We feel very confident we will get the case dismissed."

Kim herself has not responded publicly to the lawsuit, but we're sure her team is powerful enough to get it tossed.
