Kim Kardashian is Getting Dragged for the Way She Deals With Sunburn

Kim Kardashian took advantage of a recent sunburn to show how well her new KKW body foundation works. She posted videos on Instagram of her chest badly burned then showed her makeup artist, Mary, applying the product.

This isn't too surprising since a scroll through Kim's Instagram shows almost every picture is related to promoting KKW Beauty. Even on the post about her sunburn, she added that they just restocked all body foundations and skin perfecting liquid shimmers, so we know a lot of her social media presence is all about brand promotion.

The before and after pictures are pretty impressive, but some fans pointed out that covering a sunburn with makeup is not the best thing to do, as Cosmopolitan reports. One person commented on the post, "Maybe you don[']t know that putting make up [sic] on sunburn make it even worse and it's really really bad for your skin. But promoting your products seems to be more important."

Others went so far as to accuse Kim of faking the burn just to show off the body foundation. "Why do I feel like she intentionally got sun brun [sic] to promote her body makeup?," another user questioned.

Someone else commented on how painful the experience looked, saying, "You had to be in pain during that application though."

It does look painful and might not be great for the burn, but you can't blame a girl for taking advantage of a bad situation...right?
