It's pretty much a guarantee that all of Marvel's movies end up getting a sequel... and sometimes even multiple. Whether it's a character in their own story or a whole team of characters coming together in a series of multiple movies, you can almost put money on some sort of sequel happening for every successful Marvel outing. Captain Marvel won't be any different.

Brie Larson will have to gear up and stay in incredible shape if she's going to star in any Captain Marvel sequels, which could already be in the works. And talk about putting the cart before the horse, as Marvel boss Kevin Feige is already boasting about an "amazing future" for the newest MCU character.

With the premiere of Captain Marvel just days away, Feige couldn't help but tease that there could be more amazing things to come for Carol Danvers in an interview with Screen Rant.

Feige seems confident that Captain Marvel will be the first of many successful movies about the character.

"The making of a first film is in some ways a brainstorm on the future and on what can be. So what it will be again is not clear. But what it could be is pretty amazing," Feige said.

Captain Marvel and the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home are just the first couple of movies that will rein in Phase 4 in the MCU. Larson's Carol Danvers will apparently be leading the Avengers forward, since her timeline is not chronological, and you know, it does help that she can travel in time.

Captain Marvel will be the first female-lead MCU film in history, and premieres on March 8.
