Ever since the announcement of upcoming streaming service Disney+, fans have been eagerly waiting to see what sort of shows would be available have. There have been interesting new developments on series for Star Wars and other popular Disney stories, and now Kevin Feige has confirmed the Marvel shows debuting on Disney+ will be connected directly to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Unlike Marvel's Netflix shows like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and The Punisher, which were not directly connected to the characters in the MCU, the new Disney+ shows, such as the Loki series which will star Tom Hiddleston, will involve the same storylines, characters, and hopefully same actors of the shared universe.

"These will be Marvel Studios productions," Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige told ComicBook.com. "They will be entirely interwoven with both the current MCU, the past MCU, and the future of the MCU."

Keige's words have also seemingly confirmed the reports that the Loki series would be taking place in the past, following Loki making mischief throughout history. Since the character died in Infinity War, the only logical way to have a series on the anti-hero connected to the MCU would have to take place in the past.

"As we've been doing for years, aren't going to announce anything post Avengers: Endgame or Spider-Man: Far From Home until post Endgame and Spider-Man," Feige continued.

With as many characters as the MCU has, it would be really hard to run out of ideas for shows for the streaming site.
