With the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker nearly around the corner, we’re finally beginning to get some information on the details of the film’s plot. While it will feature the return of a number of Star Wars regulars, it will also include two new characters, played by Keri Russell and Richard E. Grant--and those characters were revealed today.

According to DigitalSpy, Russell and Grant will be playing characters named Zorri Bliss and Allegiant General Pryde, respectively. Zorri Bliss, described by Vanity Fair as a “masked scoundrel,” will appear on the icy planet of Kijimi, while Allegiant General Pryde will, it seems, be working closely with the villainous General Hux (Domhnall Gleeson).

Russell is perhaps best known for her leading role in FX’s The Americans, while Grant has appeared in a number of films, including The Age of Innocence, Logan, and Bram Stoker’s Dracula. They’ll be collaborating with returning director J.J. Abrams on the film, with whom Russell previously worked on Mission Impossible III.

The Rise of Skywalker represents the final entry in the first Star Wars sequel trilogy and the concluding film of the Skywalker Saga, but future films are already in the works. Notably, Game of Thrones showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff have been tapped to oversee a trilogy of new films following this trilogy’s conclusion.

Fans can learn everything about the film, including Russell and Grant’s roles in it, when it arrives in theaters on Dec. 20.
