Season 18 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians took an abrupt pause last night, as it was announced after the new episode that the season will be continuing in September. The new episodes will show the family navigating life in quarantine due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. A trailer for the show's return was also released last night, and it's jam-packed with drama, so let's break it down.

The promo starts with flashing images that include Kylie and Kendall Jenner posing for a joint photoshoot, followed by shots of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters hanging out together, and what looks like a performance of Kanye West's Sunday Service. This is followed with Kris Jenner seemingly talking about the prank Khloé and Scott Disick played on her involving the fake paparazzi. There's then a voiceover where Kris says, "I must have blacked out" and "I have to go to rehab," though it is unclear if the sentences were spoken consecutively or if they are from separate clips.

Naturally everyone seems to be ganging up on Kourtney in the trailer. There's also a stressful clip of the sisters in the car when suddenly Kim yells that something's wrong with Kendall and they need to turn the car around.

However, the most dramatic parts of the trailer are at the end, when we see the famous family dealing with the coronavirus crisis.

The promo features clips of various family members at home during quarantine, with Kylie revealing that someone close to the family tested positive for the virus. Another bombshell comes during a video call, where Scott Disick and various Kardashian family members speculate on the nature of Khloé's relationship with her ex, Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thomspon. It seems that the close-knit family is struggling to adjust to not seeing each other as much, as one clip shows Kris crying that she can't hug her daughters. "We're all going to get through this," Khloé says, closing out the trailer.

Looks like the remainder of Season 18 has even more drama in store for viewers than we expected.
