Who would've imagined before seeing the film that Marvel planned to kill off most of its characters in a jaw-dropping, gut-wrenching scene in Avengers: Infinity War? Apparently Karen Gillan did, and she did before nearly everyone else, even the core Avengers: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Chris Hemsworth.

Gillan claimed she was one of the first people to know about the fatal scene where Thanos snapped his fingers and all our heroes went poof. The actress revealed in a recent interview with Empire that she knew about the event only because of her shooting schedule. She also expressed that she hopes Nebula gets the relief she deserves in Endgame.

"I probably found out quite early on - before the shooting of the first, maybe, because of scheduling stuff," Gillan said. "I was really excited. I definitely want Nebula to have the cathartic experience she deserves with her father."

It's no secret that Thanos cares little for his adoptive daughter, while favoring Gamora instead. Being tortured for many years might give Nebula the strength to get back at Thanos at some point as well.

Gillan has also alluded in the past that she has read the script for Guardians of the Galaxy 3, which could prove that Nebula will potentially come out of Endgame alive.

Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26.
