Justin Bieber Confirms Collaboration With Ed Sheeran Debuts on Friday

After some suspicious Instagram posts, fans have been anticipating an Ed Sheeran collaboration with Justin Bieber in recent weeks--and Bieber himself just confirmed it's coming sooner than we'd expect.

Justin went as far as to post a snippet of the "Perfect" singer pretending to preview the song in an Instagram Story, and then posted a second video of the song clip playing on a laptop on both his Story and his Instagram feed.

While the clip is only about three seconds of the song, we can already tell how catchy it will be.

This all comes after rumors started of the two collaborating a couple weeks ago when both Bieber and Sheeran's managers posted photos of their respective clients posing the same way in front of a green screen. Bieber kept up the hype when after that he began posting the two similar images side by side, captioned simply "10." Since that was 6 days ago, we now can tell he was counting down to the release date of the song.

Other stars, like Khalid, showed their excitement for the project in their comments. The "Location" singer commented on one of Bieber's edited pictures of himself and Sheeran, saying simply, "WOOOOOW!!!"

We can't wait to hear the rest of the song when it is released on Friday.
