John Boyega Jokingly Trolls Fans About the 'Ending' of 'Star Wars: Episode IX'
By Hannah Wigandt

If you were wondering how the upcoming Star Wars movie, Episode IX, ends, John Boyega just spoiled it for everyone... kind of.
Boyega, who plays Finn in the current season, answered a fan's question on Twitter when one was bold enough to ask "how it all ends." The actor cleverly replied, "Fades to black and the credits go up."
Yep. Fades to black and the credits go up. https://t.co/lgUnxWWKlK

His tweet was admittedly funny, but obviously, it's unsurprising he didn't reveal the end to the Skywalker Saga. The Star Wars series is known to have some of the most secretive movies especially in recent years, so we wouldn't ever expect Boyega to spill any beans, let alone the biggest spoiler of all.
With only a little bit left to shoot, Boyega has been hyping up his fans for the upcoming film, however. He recently tweeted a picture of his dirty hands to Instagram and teased, "The whole team pushed themselves today to achieve something visually crazy! I’ve had many moments of shock on set but not like today and I can’t wait until you know why."
Despite Boyega's teasing about the ending of the saga and mentioning he's been working hard on all the action-packed scenes, Episode IX has been held under wraps for a long time, still without any teasers or trailers. And while many fans have held hope we might see our first look at the film during this year's Super Bowl, recent reports have debunked that possibility.
Boyega also responded to fans on Twitter after getting questions about filming, to which he shared, "Just a little more! This one has been the most fun by far."
Star Wars: Episode IX premieres on Dec. 20, 2019.
