JJ Abrams Shares New Photo From 'Star Wars: Episode IX' in Heartfelt Tweet

Star Wars production is always kept under maximum security until the movie gets released--therefore, anything provided from the team during filming is a big deal.
Earlier today, director J.J. Abrams shared a picture of Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, and John Boyega with a caption to reflect the official end of photography for the film, which is slated to release this December.
It feels impossible, but today wrapped photography on Episode IX. There is no adequate way to thank this truly magical crew and cast. I’m forever indebted to you all. pic.twitter.com/138AprtFuZ

The ninth episode, which has no public title yet, will inevitably continue to follow the characters as we left them at the end of Episode VIII. We were definitely left with questions at the end of The Last Jedi, and knowing the answers exist and have likely been filmed only makes us more excited for the movie's release.
We can't help but notice the mixed emotions the characters seem to have in the shot--from Boyega's face that seems happy or in disbelief, to Isaac's sadness. Even though we officially have less than a year until the movie's release, we can't help but wish it would come a little sooner so that we could catch up on everyone's adventures in a galaxy far, far away.
This photo changed my life.
