'Jessica Jones' Season 3 Premiering on Netflix in June

With all the bad news concerning Marvel's Netflix shows, as one after another were cancelled, fans have at least one thing to be happy about. Jessica Jones' final third season will be premiering very soon.

Netflix posted the news on their NX Twitter account, along with a list of other exciting movies and shows dropping in June on the streaming site. At the bottom of the list is Jessica Jones, which doesn't have an exact release date yet, and instead followed just the words "coming soon."

With the final season dropping in June, this means fans will only have to wait a few weeks max to see how the final 13 episodes close out the Marvel series.

As highlighted by ComicBook.com, Krysten Ritter, who plays the titular character, posted a farewell to the show on Instagram after it was announced it was ending with a third season.

"I love these people to the moon and back," Ritter wrote. "It has been a dream to play Jessica alongside my amazing cast and the best crew in the business for these past 5 years. I am so grateful for every second of it. We have THE BEST fans. You guys mean the world to me and I appreciate you beyond words. The final season of #JessicaJones is coming later this year and I am proud of how we complete JJ’s journey. I can’t wait for you all to see it."

We'll be on the lookout to catch the final season when it premieres sometime next month.
