Modern Family's Jesse Tyler joins cast of High School Musical alongside Olivia Rodrigo

Modern Family's Jesse Tyler has joined the cast of High School Musical the Series alongside Olivia Rodrigo. The actor excitedly took to Instagram to share his happiness at having the opportunity to work besides the drivers license hit maker.

Jesse revealed that he had filmed the scenes for the Disney show "7 months ago" but was sworn to secrecy. Besides two pictures of himself with the teen songstress, he wrote: "I filmed this 7 months ago so I'm thrilled I can finally talk about it!"

Though the actor had a small part in the overall grand scheme of the High School Musical saga, he also added that he was "excited" to be part of the project before gushing over his co-star Olivia.

"Excited to be a small part of @highschoolmusicalseries working alongside this gem of a human. @oliviarodrigo not only has major acting chops but she also impressed me with poise and professionalism that usually takes YEARS to figure out. I was already a fan of hers and now I can say I'm a full on 'Livie'!" Check out the post below!
