'Jersey Shore's Vinny Guadagnino Begs Kim Kardashian to Get Mike Sorrentino Out of Jail

In Oct. 2018, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino was sentenced to eight months in jail for tax evasion. Many know the 37-year-old reality star from MTV's Jersey Shore, which ran from 2009 to 2012, and he more recently he appeared on the spinoff show Jersey Shore Family Vacation (2018).

Though Mike seemed to be in good spirits ahead of entering prison last week, not to mention him having a great support system in wife Lauren Pesce, Jersey Shore co-star Vinny Guadagnino is fighting for Mike to not have to serve the full sentence. And he's calling in the big guns.

While speaking to TMZ, Vinny made a plea to Kim Kardashian to try and help Mike get out of prison. As many Kardashian fans know, the reality star was able to get President Donald Trump to grant clemency to Alice Marie Johnson in June 2018, as the 63-year-old grandmother was serving a life sentence for a first time offense, non-violent crime. Kim has gone on to work on a number of other cases while advocating for prison reform.

"Kim, Mike is an amazing person. To me, he’s completely reformed," Vinny explained. "He’s a great member of society. He preaches to kids that have addictions; he’s a big advocate and evangelist for recovery. He’d be better off out here helping people."

Vinny concluded, "Kim, get on that!"

Though Mike's sentence is nothing like what Kim is trying to help, we're sure she'll get a kick out of Vinny's plea anyway. The Jersey Shore star went on to say Mike was "doing great" in prison. "I knew he was gonna do good; he was never nervous about it," he explained. "Lauren told us that he’s doing great. They’re updating us on Twitter and Instagram so he’s gonna be alright."

Let's leave Kim to work on more important cases, Vinny!
