Jeremy Renner just shared some interesting information about the epic scene between Hawkeye and Black Widow on Vormir in Avengers: Endgame. Fans will remember that both characters were fighting over who would sacrifice themselves for the Soul Stone.

Renner surprised fans by revealing that the scene was actually a reshoot. The original idea, as reported by CinemaBlend, was that Hawkeye and Black Widow were supposed to be fending off an attack from Thanos. Instead, six months later, it got replaced with the two of them fighting. The 48-year-old actor explained while at Ace Comic-Con:

"It was a tough scene for us to shoot. It's a reshoot we did about six months ago. The original was a lot more complicated, with an attack by Thanos. This was just us."

The reshoot seems like a great idea in retrospect, especially because many fans have expressed how memorable and moving the scene was.
