If you know anything about Jennifer Lopez, you know she can kind of do it all in the entertainment world. She's a singer, actress, dancer, and not to mention a producer, and has expectedly made a killing over her long career.

According to Insider, the 49-year-old superstar has a net worth of $400 million! That impressive number is definitely understandable when you think of all her achievements since her career began back in the late '80s. Her first starring role, playing the late Selena Quintanilla in 1997's Selena, surely skyrocketed her to the spotlight, and she hasn't looked back since.

After Selena, Lopez scored a number of leading roles in films such as Anaconda (1997), Out of Sight (1998), and The Cell (2000). She truly cemented herself in the romantic comedy genre with her role in 2001's The Wedding Planner (2001), starring alongside Matthew McConaughey. Other notable romantic comedies to follow include Maid in Manhattan (2002), Monster-in-Law (2005), and The Back-Up Plan (2010). Even with major flops like Gigli (2003) and Jersey Girl (2004), Lopez would remain on top.

Lopez has a whopping 102 acting credits on her IMDb page, including TV and movie roles, cameos, music videos, and more. But still, it's her first leading role that might be considered her best. She was even nominated for her role in Selena at the 1998 Golden Globes.

But as we all know, acting isn't her only strong suit. Lopez's debut single "If You Had My Love" was released in May 1999, and was met with major success. She then released her first album On the 6 that same year, which features some of her most popular songs today, such as "Waiting for Tonight" and "Let's Get Loud."

Lopez would go on to release six more albums: J. Lo (2001), This is Me… Then (2002), Rebirth (2005), Como Ama uno Mujer (2007), Brave (2007), Love? (2011), and A.K.A. (2014). Her first concert tour, Dance Again World Tour, began in June 2012 and ended in Oct. 2012, making $73.8 million at the box office. She also went on tour with Marc Anthony while they were married in 2004, as well as Enrique Iglesias in 2012.

In 2015, Lopez announced her Las Vegas residency show, “All I Have,” which began in Jan. 2016 and concluded in Sept. 2018. She performed 120 shows, which grossed over $100 million in ticket sales.

It was announced in 2010 that Lopez would be joining American Idol as a judge, a job she did for two seasons, ultimately coming back again two years later. She was also involved in the Latin talent series ¡Q'Viva! The Chosen, which saw one season in 2012.

More recently, Lopez has focused on her acting career, starring in the hit NBC show Shades of Blue, which she also serves as an executive producer on. In addition, she was an executive producer on the Freeform show The Fosters, which ran from 2013 to 2018. Her newest film, Second Act, hit theaters on Dec. 21, 2018.

And apart from entertainment, Lopez launched a lifestyle brand, J.Lo by Jennifer Lopez, which includes clothing lines and perfumes. She's also done various endorsement deals, such as with L'Oreal, Gucci, and more.

At this point, Lopez is more than just a triple or even quadruple threat. Her estimated $400 million net worth is just proves how much she's valued in the entertainment world. We can't wait to see what 2019 brings--apart from her brand new engagement to Alex Rodriguez!
