Jenelle Evans Denies David Eason is Racist and Homophobic Again With Another Terrible Explanation

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is sick of her man, David Eason, being labeled racist and homophobic on social media. In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Evans stood up for her husband again.

“I think that’s just ridiculous because a lot of people even say he’s racist, but his best friend is black,” the reality star said. “And he also has no problem with gay people.”

Eason made headlines in Feb. 2018 when he called members of the LGBT community “abominations" on Twitter. Eason said that he would teach his children “not to associate” with them because, “if you lay down with the dogs you get up with fleas.”

Evans spoke about this incident during her interview.

“Someone just asked him an opinion [on] how he felt [about] transgender people around his kids and he gave his response," she said. "He didn’t just randomly tweet this … someone came and asked him and he told him his response. And that’s when everything blew up.”

In October, Eason gained attention to his social media when he posted a picture of himself posing with a Confederate flag on Instagram.

Evans admitted that defending Eason on social media was getting old because she no longer cares what strangers think about their relationship. These days, the 27-year-old mom really only cares what her mom thinks.

“My mom accepts him now and that’s all I was worried about. That’s it,” she confessed. “Now I just want everyone to get along. I don’t care what anyone else says.”

This is hardly the first time Evans had to defend her husband. In August, the reality star opened up to Dr. Drew on Eason's intentions with his hurtful comments. “He doesn’t hate those people,” she said of the LGBT community. “He just doesn’t want his kids to grow up and be that way.” Days later, Eason took to Instagram to promote "straight pride."

There is no getting through to either of these people, clearly.
