Jenelle Evans' Baby Daddy Andrew Tries to See Jace Again After 9 Years on 'Teen Mom 2'

As if Jenelle Evans didn’t have enough baby daddy drama with husband David Eason and ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith, Andrew Lewis is now begging her to see their son Jace after nine years.

In this week’s episode of Teen Mom 2, Lewis reached out to a producer to inquire about seeing his son, whom he hasn’t seen since he was born. During the episode, the producer read aloud a text from Lewis, according to RadarOnline.

“I’m back in New York," Lewis texted. "Are you down to bring Jace to New York City, and Barbara and Jenelle? I can’t travel because of work. I would love to see Jace. How would Jenelle feel about it?”

In one of the early episodes of 16 & Pregnant, Jenelle revealed Lewis decided to move to China to pursue a modeling career.

“It’s messed up he doesn’t know he has a grandfather with a medal of honor,” the text continued. “A great uncle that’s one of the most successful ghostwriters and guitar teachers of all time.”

Jenelle wasn’t convinced that introducing Jace and Lewis was a good idea, however.

“I don’t know if it’s a good thing or not cause he already sounds drunk when you read me those text messages,” the 27-year-old mother said. “I do feel bad. I don’t feel like shutting Jace’s dad out. But I know how he f**king is. I don’t want to disappoint my son. I don’t want you to pop in his life and then pop back out. That’s happened as a child when my dad did it to me and I’m not having it happen to Jace.”

Jenelle’s mom Barbara agreed to call Lewis to discuss the matter. “I want to figure out some way to get Jace to know me,” he told Barbara. “It’s been 9 years. We can’t hold a grudge anymore.” She responded, “You haven’t seen him his whole life. And I don’t want you to come into his life and see him once or twice and not see him again.”

Lewis attempted to defend himself, explaining he has a Bachelor’s Degree and a union job. He admitted he never asked to see Jace in the past because he didn’t know how. “I was drinking and doing all that stuff that I used to do in the past,” Lewis admitted. “I’m 33 years old now. The true low life in a relationship is a woman keeping her child away from a loving father.”

Barbara was skeptical about the situation as well. She responded, “You’re hitting me out of the blue. I know in the past you’ve had a drinking problem. Maybe I can come to New York and meet you alone and make sure everything is okay and Jace is safe around you. Let’s make a plan.”

We wonder if there will be a reunion between Lewis and Jace at some point during this season.
