Jason Momoa Weighs in on if He'll Be in the 'Game of Thrones' Reunion Special or Not
By Jennifer Fabiano

Jason Momoa has been busy promoting his new project, the first standalone Aquaman film, but Game of Thrones fans won’t let him ever forget about Khal Drogo.
But unfortunately, when the Indo-Asian News Service asked him if he'd be part of the Thrones reunion special, Momoa responded, “I don’t think so.”
Momoa’s character was killed off in the first season, but he was spotted hanging around Belfast during the filming of the final season of Thrones. Many outlets asked if he was there to film a return of Khal Drogo, but he denied the reports at the time.
Previous reports stated that the reunion special will feature every single character from the show, both living and dead, but it now seems that might not be the case.
Momoa's answer is a bit odd considering the reunion special was already filmed, and the actor should know if he was involved in the project or not. Maybe Momoa isn’t at liberty to say if Khal Drogo will make an appearance, or maybe he was distracted while trying to focus on his current project.
Sean Bean, who played Ned Stark, spoke to The Hollywood Reporter in October about the special.
Bean explained:
"Conan O'Brien did this thing. It was the last episode, so we all got together...it was good! It's funny with work, you don't really keep in touch. You do so many types of jobs in that part of the world. It's just like whenever I see old friends or even old drama school friends, it's just the same, we pick up where we left off last time. They decided to get all the characters together for a bit for this big show in Belfast and he kind of hosted the evening."
The special will not air on HBO along with the eighth season, but instead will be featured exclusively on a complete series home video box set. The new box set, which will be available in 2019 after the final season airs, will contain the full eight seasons together for the first time.
